Things You Probably Did Not Know About Coit Tower: A Video

San Francisco is loaded with plenty of fascinating attractions, one of them is Coit Tower which is also known as the Lillian Coit Memorial Tower built in 1933. The tower was designed by Jr. architect of San Francisco’s City Hall. The murals inside the tower were painted in 1934 by a group of artists hired by the Public Works of Art Project.

When you’ll get in the Coit Tower you’ll find yourself within a slender shaped concrete column that holds a gift shop from where you can buy tickets at reasonable prices, to take the elevator to the top of the tower. From there, the vision is even more fascinating. This 210 foot tall tower provides 360-degree views of the city and the bay, which includes the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and many other San Francisco attractions or sights.
